FAQs

1. Will the massage be painful?

During the massage it is likely that some areas of tension, muscle adhesion and trigger points will be discovered. When working with these areas it can often be slightly sore or painful, but only in a good way.

You will always be asked if the pressure being used it OK for you and if you ever feel the pressure is too deep then please tell the therapist as it is important that you are relaxed throughout the whole massage. Likewise, if the pressure point is too light, please tell the therapist to apply more pressure.

2. How often should I have a massage?

Everyone is different so this is a hard question to answer. In general however, some people like to come for a massage on a weekly, fortnightly, monthly or even 2 monthly basis, this decision is entirely up to you and how you are feeling. You will never be encouraged to come for more treatments than required.
